Attic > Purple Prose #17: Terrill Tales

by Purple Prose

This issue of Purple Prose centers around Rogers Terrill, a pulp-writer turned editor for Fiction House and Popular Publications. "The Reign of the Rajah," written by Will Murray, details the contribution Terrill made to the pulps, and gives some interesting tales of the trade.

Also, Alfred Jan gives an interesting account of pulp magazines written for the woman reader in "The 'true story' of the Confession Pulps."

Finally, Albert Tonik interviews the wife of G.T. Fleming-Roberts. Fleming-Roberts wrote hundereds of stories for pulps such as Dime Detective, Detective Tales, and Thrilling Mystery.
